It’s obvious I love photographing weddings, but when I get to do it for someone I know—someone I looked up to as a little girl—it makes the experience so much more special!

I had so much fun photographing Mira and Adam on their special day. I’ve never seen such a fun couple before. Everything they did together exuded happiness on every level imaginable, and I feel so lucky I could experience it first hand.

Mira, like me, used to be a national level rhythmic gymnast. But what she doesn’t know, is I became a nationally competitive rhythmic gymnast because of her. One day when I was much younger, I was walking through the gym where we had competitions and I saw her doing a pivot. But not just any pivot, it was the most beautiful leg grab pivot I had ever seen. (For those who don’t know, a leg grab pivot is when you grab one leg and pull it to either the front or side of your head while you’re spinning on the other foot.)

It was because of that one pivot that I owe most of my life to! It inspired me to go further with the sport…it inspired me to be great.

Adam I just met on this day, but I can easily say him and his groomsmen were the best bunch of guys I’ve ever worked with. As soon as I walked in their house, Adam offered me food and drinks and made me feel instantly comfortable.

I’m so thankful for this day and I can honestly say this is the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever been to.

Beautiful theme, beautiful decorations, and extremely beautiful people.

Sincerely,

Kristi
